About Gage Hound

Built by manufacturers, for manufacturers.

Gage Hound was born out of frustration with spreadsheets. Every manufacturing quality team has one — a shared Excel file that tracks calibration due dates, usually maintained by one person, usually out of date, and always one missed deadline away from an audit finding.

We built Gage Hound to replace that spreadsheet with something purpose-built: a simple web app where you can register every gage, record calibration events, track due dates, and print labels — without wrestling with formulas or worrying about version control.

Our mascot

The Gage Hound is a bloodhound with a nose for overdue calibrations. He sniffs out every gage that's past its due date so you never get caught off guard during an audit. His job is simple: make sure nothing slips through.

Our mission

We believe that quality management tools should be simple enough that everyone on the shop floor uses them — not just the quality manager. Gage Hound is designed to be fast, clear, and genuinely useful from day one.

Technology

Gage Hound is built on Next.js, hosted on Vercel, and powered by Supabase for secure, real-time data storage. Your data is encrypted in transit and at rest and protected by row-level security.
