We collect information you provide when you create an account (name, email), and data you enter into the app (gage records, calibration records). We also collect standard server logs including IP addresses and browser type for security and performance monitoring.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to provide the Gage Hound service, send calibration due-date email reminders (which you can turn off at any time), and improve the product. We do not sell your data to third parties.

3. Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored in Supabase, a secure cloud database. All data is encrypted in transit (TLS) and at rest. We use row-level security to ensure each user can only access their own company's data.

4. Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. If you cancel, your data is retained for 30 days and then permanently deleted unless you request earlier deletion.

5. Cookies

We use session cookies to keep you logged in. We do not use third-party advertising cookies. You can disable cookies in your browser, but some features of the app will not work correctly.

6. Your Rights

You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data at any time. To request data deletion or a data export, contact us at support@gagehound.com.

7. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via email. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance.
